PostgreSQL Error

Just have a question, when I try to open PT3 and it tries to launch PostgreSQL I get an error message saying:

Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 DB
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not send startup packet: Invalid argument (0x00002726/10022)

Any ideas what this means or how I can fix it?

Thanks

First, if you are a Vista user, check out this thread:

Vista and PostgreSQL: READ ME

If you are still having problems, please disable your firewall as it might be blocking your computer from accessing the SQL server.

Finally, please make sure postgresql is running. Press ctrl-alt-del, and select processes from the task manager. Look at the list of processes; do you see at least one copy of postgresql.exe running? If not, please start it by going to start -> programs -> postgresql -> start service. If that is not in your start programs, please install postgresql: PostgreSQL 8.3.1 install
