Hi! i have a few questions about my postgresql version. i have version 8.0.3 i think. how much will performance increase with the newest version? and will pt2 still work with the newest version as well?

PT2 does work with 8.3, but it takes a bit of sorting out. I've done it using these instructions.
It is possible to use PT2 with postgres 8.3
