Hi guys,
I just can´t figure it out to install PostgreSQL, it really goes on my nervs now....

I downloaded version 8.3.1-1 and tried to install it but when I´m through the pre-installation steps and then the installation is running and error message appears when "creating user account" which says: "Internal account lookup failure: ...."
Then installation stops and rolls back the actions...

Hope you can help me.

Are you running as an administrator? Are you on Vista?
Attn: Vista Users Installing PostgreSQL 8.3

I have windows XP,
I don´t know what you mean with administrator, I think I´m not...

If you right click on the installer and click "Run as Administrator" it will run it as administrator.
