SQL install problem

had SQL 8.2 previously for PT2, I removed that then tried to install 8.3 for PT3

I have XP home, I start to install 8.3 with the file I dowloaded with PT3 from this site, I give the postgres password ,everything is OK, it is beginning to install it, but then I get the error message that the "program is failed to create process initdb" or something similar.
I am in the administrator mode on my XP, there are two main users, but only I have all the rights.

But OK, I try install it again after I deleted manually the Postgre folder from "c:program files", I start to install it again, everything is OK, it is beginning to install it, but at the same part(creating user account) there is a new error message like this : "cant create temporary folder"
both times I clicked OK and it was rolling back...

(I still did not give the registration code to PT, beacuse I want to open it it says I have to install this SQL to use it.)

What to do know to install this postgreSQL ?

(I tried an another version too, the 8.2.7 but I have XP,not Vista, that time I got another errormessage of course...)

it is getting really annoying

nobody ?:(

I tried from the administrator user account, and the same error : failed to create a process to run initdb.

but before it I gave the administrator rights to my user account and the same error at installing.

Of course I used the "net postgres user /delete" before every try, that was OK I think, because there was no problem till the beginning of installation, the server account, and the cluster username + password was OK, just when it reached in installation the creating user account part, I got that idiot error message.

Is any other solution ?

Or I will never use PT3 unfortunately ...

Do you have any anti-virus software running?
Have a look at this topic: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6902
I wonder if it is a related issue?
