Purschased PT3 recently. Working fine on my laptop with Vista. Had to reistall Windows XP on my office PC, that's when problem occured:
There are four boxes at startup. Password is blank. What shall I put in there?
The usual password "dbpass" is no longer working then-- when I am promped to configure PostgresQL on startup. Is there another one now?

If you don't know what the password is you can remove the need for postgres passwords.

Did the removal procedure, changed with 'trust'. Still get this message: "Unable to connect to this database. Please check the configuration."

Are you running everything as administrator?
Are you on XP or Vista?
If Vista, have you disabled UAC?
What version of postgres did you install?

When you re-installed, did you install PT3 WITH postgres, or did you install postgres manually?
Do you see postgres processes running if you look at Task Manager / Processes?
