Have you enabled flicker free stats on the Preferences window?
There is also a preferred seating checkbox there if you use it (I guess, I don't play at stars, it's possible PAH can detect this automatically). (Maybe turn it off both here and on the poker site to start with, see if you can get it working properly without it first.)

Ok I solved the first problem, you can set your preferred seat in the preferences..

hi wanted to ask how to get a new registration code for the beta. i have been using PAH 1.18 so far. since todays PartyP upgrade i wanted to try the beta coz 1.18 does not recognize the tables.

This is still an issue in 1.19.6. See this thread: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=12307&start=30#p57963

..but when you want to upgrade, you don't need a new code - just stop PAH and install the new version over the top of your existing install.
