files that got processed

all my HH goes into a folder after they got proccessed - i have never so far deleted any of the files that are there, now i have a lot of files there and i want to know - what happen after i delete files that are on this folder? i make a backup copy every 2 weeks or so, so if i will delete all my files at this folder the back up file that i save is enuf?

Nothing would happen, PT no longer needs/uses those files once it has imported everything into the database. It might be a good idea to ZIP the files and back them up, just as an additional backup source but other than that, you can get rid of them.
