I get an access violation when importing

when trying to import from stars I get an access violation error and it shuts down pokertracker.

Access violation at (some number) tried to read from... program terminated.

What version of PT2?
Are you using Vista?
Did this just start, has it been working fine and this just began happening?

pt2 v 2.17.03d
on windows xp
and it has been working fine up until last night

Open the File > Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries window, click the Select Files To Import button go to the folder where PokerStars is saving your files. Select some to import. Does this work? If it does, select the rest of them and import them all. Once they are all imported, move the files out of that folder and then try to import again from the auto-import window for any new files that get created.
