ptrack2.exe is gone!

have the same problem
i installed the patch again yesterday and everything was ok
then when i opened the computer today and i try to open PT it asks me if i am sure i want to uninstall PT and all of the other files related to it (i don't find the .exe file that opens PT)
i have instelled again the patch from the link u gave - but nothing happens, it still ask me every time if i want to uninstall it..(the icon that i have on my computer is the uninstall program and not pt icon as usuall)

Right-click on the PT desktop icon you use to launch PT and select Properties from the popup menu.
What is the value in the "Target" field on the window that opens.

Having the same problem. I installed the patch but whenever I click on it it says windows can't open the file and gives me one of those "do you want to manually select a file from the list or let the computer find it automatically" messages.

Are you sure you installed the patch? Is the ptrack2.exe file in your c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder?

EXE is gone. I did the patch.

I'm having the same problem.

The TARGET path is: "C:\Program Files\Poker Tracker V2\ptrack2.exe"

I've looked in the file and the is no ptrak2.exe. I've been using PT for a couple weeks with no problems until today

OK I searched AVG and found the file it had deleted. I restored that file from AVG and PT is working fine. We'll see if this is a continuing problem next time AVG runs tomorrow

Please help me on this. I don't know how to get the exe file back without losing all my data.
