I've never seen anything like that. I'll have to create an EXE that has some decoding messages in it and send it to you so that we can try to see where it's crapping out at. I won't be able to do this until later this evening. I'll PM you with the link to the file when it's ready.

Have you considered upgrading to PT3.

OK, after receiving the error message: "Error: Access violation at 0x7C80A3C4 (tried to read from 0x08C70000), program terminated.", I opened the log file, hit Ctrl A, deleted it all, saved the file, then hit Force Import...

Received the same Access Violation error message and program termination again.

Manually move any file that doesn't have today's date on it (file names will start as "FT20090708") to another folder then try the import with just the files from today.

Well, not really. PT2 has done everything I wanted. I never really explored the advantages of PT3. Why wouldn't this be a problem for me in PT3 as well?

Anyway, I'm open to it, if it provides some tangible improvements.

PT3 is being actively supported, it already works for FTP although some people appear to be having some HUD issues but I'm sure they'll have a patch out for that as soon as they can.

PT2 is only being updated when there are site changes like this...and only for a short period of time...then those updates will stop. I'm not involved in PT anymore except to do what limited support remains for PT2 and I don't have the time like I used to have to get fixes out as soon as things change. If we can't figure this out tonight, I won't have a lot of time tomorrow to do anything until later in the day.

Yep, that did the trick. Thanks Pat!

Other than that, the program doesn't move processed files (it used to). The box is checked, and the destination folder is valid. I get a message every few days that says "You currently have 23 files in your hand history folder. This usually indicates that you are not moving processed files..."

Also, the PA HUD issue (not picking up tables) is a known issue that's being dealt with, right?

I already stated in the post with the link to the patch that it doesn't move the processed files yet. I have to add that in a later patch.

If you close FT and try the import again, with FT still closed, do you still get the Access violation errors?

My processed hands haven't been moving for months.

I rechecked my HH folder to verify that the files were all dated today, and restarted PT. It's successfully importing again. Don't know what the hiccup was about.

Based on the part of the log file you posted above you have been playing HORSE games. PT doesn't move those files that contain both Hold'em and other types of games, you need to move them yourself.

Once again, it imported fine for about 10 minutes, then gave me the Access Violation error and terminated the program again.

The log still shows hand histories from previous dates, but my HH folder now only contains todays HH's.
