every time there is even the slightest change in code, then i have to go to computer school just to figure how to make the pt2 work again..when it works it is great, but it is so frustrating trying to understand all the "fixes" to the latest code changes in order to use the product that i paid for....Accck! everything was working fine untill FT decided to change things and then PT support has to react to the changes, I understand that part, but the fixes and the patches do not work..my pt2 does not work anymore, so i am on full tilt.

There was a patch to this problem that works given here...
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=20928 - along with a workaround for people getting the access violation errors.
Just how do you expect there not to be any code changes needed when a site completely changes their software?? I have no control over what these sites do and I've always made the appropriate fixes that were needed in a matter of hours and you've never been charged a penny for it. You've owned the program 4 years now, I think you've gotten your monies worth and in that time I've had to make dozens of fixes when Party, Stars, FT, whoever has changed something, and it's always been done on a timely basis. So I take offense to the tone of this post.

Well point taken. MY apologies. I do not believe it is anything that you did or did not do. It was my frustation and a thoughtless post. I have used those patches/and fixes. Then it worked. Now it does not (again) I will have to search and read and study to learn what I am doing wrong (again, about 12 times now over 4 years of loving the product) But at that moment..i could hardly stand it. Since you have put it all in perspective, I thought I owed you an apology. You may remove the post if that is possible. I forget that there are real people behind these products.

I need a hand here. I have version two, and its currently not working with Full Tilt, and it's currently not working with Ultimate Bet, and it's currently not working with Poker Stars. I downloaded the latest version, but it's still not working. Also, I sent emails to support and have not heard back. I'm multi tableing and could really use something. My version is 2.17.04c. Thanks for any thoughts and or help.

I've not gotten one single email from you so I find that hard to believe. I respond to every single email and you should be using the online support system anyway, that way there is a ticket # to track.
What isn't working? Be specific.
Are you using Vista? If so, you need to be running ALL your poker software as administrator.
Is the auto-import finding files or is it telling you no files are found?
For UB, you need to use the Absolute auto-import window to import the hands because these sites have merged into the Cereus network. This is detailed here:
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=14618For PokerStars, I have no idea why you wouldn't be able to import those files if you are pointing PT to the right folder.

I appologize if I was impolite at all, was feeling quite frustraited. I'm going to try and work most of my questions through the trouble ticket area. I'm using XP, I got PokerStars fixed, and the only main question I'll bring up here is with all the threads on FTP, it would be nice to know what to do in a simpler format, because when I read that thread, it's really hard to tell what to do. I can't seem to save the file in the format suggested to get PokerTracker and PAH to read them, and I'm wondering how it will help me if I do get it figured out when a game is going on. I'll probably make my future posts in the ticket section, thanks very much.

All you need to do for the new FTP patch is read the second post of this thread, you don't need to read all the other stuff about the errors that people are having...
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=20928If you get the access violation errors, there is a link in that post to a program you can download until I can find a solution/fix to put into PT2.

Pat,
I am not sure this fix will work with version 2x.17.03k... which is the patch for the 'Poker Tracker has stopped working issue.'
I tried this fix and got that error again, but I reinstalled the 17.03k to fix it.
hmm

You need to contact me using the online support system about this.

As an FYI I moved to PT3 and took a shot hoping my long standing issues with sites like UB and FTP would be fixed, and it worked like a charm. Just letting Patrick know since I was cranky in my first post, that if anyone is considering it, in my opinion it is well worth the money and will fix these issues and work very well.
