PokerTracker

strangest thing happened, it just started importing but not updating. It was working fine ealrier in the day, but now it is not. My regional setting are English/USA & i haven't messed with anything in PT's settings. poker stars hh's btw. i noticed something funny in the HH folder, the individual HH files' names had been changed to stuff like >, U, 427, 420, 423

i keep trying to load a log file but the notepad thing just sits there with the hourglass, nothing happening.

Are there any hand histories in these files? Open them and see if there is anything in them.

there is 1 hh in each file

Click the Enable Logging box on the PokerStars auto-import window.
Then play some hands for 10 minutes.
Then click the View Log link and copy/paste the text of the log file into a reply.

The log file says that it's importing hands each time the timer is firing and I also don't see mention of these hand history files you are talking about with the short names.
