New PostgreSQL database

I use postgreSQL with PT2 but the database has become very large and seems to slow down my computer. I'd like to start a new database but I can't figure out how to do it.
Thanks

You have to use the File > Maintain Database Names window.
Click the Add button and enter a description and in the last field choose "Create new, empty Access database"
Click OK to save.
Now go to the Utilities > Convert Database window and convert the new db to PostgreSQL.

I've created a new dbase but it's still not working correctly. When I created the first new database I think I just copied the first, so I tried again and I think it's a totally brand new database. However, the import seems to be coming from the second database, and not the the third one (the one I want to use). Under maintain PT database I've selected the third one as the default but it's not coming up. How can I fix this?
Thanks

Problem fixed.
I closed and restarted PT2 and then it started importing from the right DB. I also had to remember to switch to the correct DB in PAH.
