I just re installed windows. I installed PostgreSQL ver. 8.3. I had an older version previously. Before re installing windows I had restored my computer to an earlier date and then did a PT restore a backup from a thumbdrive with no problem. Now when I try to restore the backup : I go to PostgreSQL database functions in PT, click on brows under the restore section and click on PT backup on my thumbdrive... instead of opening this file , a new box opens select location of 'pg_restore.exe'


Any help on restoring my backup would be appreciated. Thanks. Windows XP Pro is the OS

You should be able to browse to find the file, it should be in the c:\program files\postgresql\8.3\bin folder.
