Backup password question

Hey I have been backing up my SQL DB daily after my power went out during a session and now when I went to do it tonight something happened.

When it asks me for my password I cant even type it in. I know the password just am unable to even enter anything in. What did I smoke tonight which lead me to this point?

Any help would be amazing.

I was a donkey obv....Changed the md5 to trust and it is working like a champ.
