Converting Database Issue

My HUD has been running painfully slow and causing tables to freeze so I decided it might run more efficiently if I converted my access database to postgreSQL.

I installed postgreSQL but I get this message when I try to convert database:



I've double checked the passwords. I'm completely out of my depth with postgre and any help would be appreciated.

Restart the computer and try it again.

okay i havethe same problem. evrything is ok. i changed the config file. when i try to connect via the pgadmin, it connects perfectly. what the hell the problem is? i have restarted my computer twice, still no help ..

k figured it out. i had to download this stuff:
http://www.postgresql.org/ftp/odbc/versions/msi/

i thought its with postgresql but it wasnt. so maybe u ave the same problem ..
