Full Tilt updated their software July 8, 2009 and as a result PT Stud will not import any hands.

- Played hands: Here is the latest PTS beta patch which allows you to import hands played after July 8 again using the Full Tilt auto-import window:
<link removed - the official patch is here: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=21622>

- Observed Hands: these are not being created anymore. Please contact Full Tilt about this since it's out of my control.

- Moving Processed Files - This will no longer work at this time so you will need to move the files manually. I will fix this later.

NOTE: Make sure you are using the Full Tilt Auto-Import window in PTS to import Full Tilt hands. The Generic auto-import and Manual import windows will not work with the new FTP hands.

EDIT - workarounds are no longer needed - get the official patch above.

I installed this (Windows XP) and when I try to import hands from Full Tilt, I get this error:

"Error: Access violation at 0x7C80A3E0 (tried to read from 0x09A50000), program terminated."

I did close PTS before running the update.

To update my last message, PTS seems to crash when trying to parse a NLHE SNG hand history.
When I removed all of those files, it parsed the stud hand histories just fine. When I moved some
of the files back, it didn't crash, but then later did on the same ones... Kind of mysterious.
I can do any more testing or provide you the hand histories that cause the crash if you like;
just let me know. I'm also a software developer and know how useful it is to be able to work on
repeatable bugs!

So you're saying when FTP Stud hand files are mixed with FTP Hold'em Tourney hand files PTS crashes, but when you move all but the Stud hand files out of the hand history folder it works? Also, you are sure you are running version 1.05.06d?

"File contains no Stud hands or unable to determine what poker site this file came from."

I am trying to import stud hands from full tilt's 7 game hand history files

trackerpoker and PaulinS,

Make sure you are using the Full Tilt Auto-Import window in PTS. The Generic auto-import and Manual import windows will not work with the new FTP hands.

I am using the auto-import window. Could it be that I am trying to import hands from both before and after the fulltilt update? Should I seperate the hands from before and after the update? Then import them manually?

Ok, I was able to get hands imported from after the update by seperating them from the hands before the update. But I still can't seem to get the hands from before the update to import. How do can I do this?

For the hands played before the update, use File > Import Hand Histories... Then manually move them out of your FTP Hand History folder so all that remains from now on will be new-format hand histories. These can only be imported using the Full Tilt auto-import window in PT.
