can't build a new database

Hello,
I have an old version of postgre , i installed the lasted version.
But i can't build a new database i have the same error message.
"The port" seems different 5433 with new postgre instead of 5432.

What do you mean by "lasted version"? Did you install PostgreSQL v17? PokerTracker 4 does not support that version of PostgreSQL.

But i can't build a new database i have the same error message.

What error message are you getting? If you installed PostgreSQL v17 then you will not be able to create a new database. If you have installed PostgreSQL v17 please uninstall it and install PostgreSQL v16 instead - see this guide.

If you didn't uninstall the old version of PostgreSQL and then installed a different major version of PostgreSQL it will default to port 5433 if the default port (5432) is already in use.

Restart postgres in PT4 and i can create a new database , thank you
