I purged a session, and now it all appears to be ok thanks!!!
As its happened once, is it likely to happen again? What would cause this?

I'm not sure exactly what caused it, but it sounds like the cache wasn't updated correctly. Did you have any crashes during any operations? (imports, purges, currency updates, etc)
