A pre-release version which adds support for the new WPN client is available so if anyone wants to try this please open a Support Ticket if you haven't already done so.

We have released PokerTracker v4.15.12 which adds initial support for the new Winning Poker Network client and their new hand history format. Please download and install the latest PokerTracker v4.15.12 release via the link below:

https://www.pokertracker.com/products/PT4/download.php

The following are not yet supported and will be supported in a future update to PokerTracker:
1. Tournament detection is incomplete. There is very little information available for us to detect tournament types, buy-ins, winnings, etc. WPN are working on writing proper tournament summaries at which point complete tournament detection will be added.
2. No Blitz HUD. WPN's new fast fold games (Blitz) hand histories will import but no HUD will display. We are working with WPN for them to provide us with the necessary information so that we can display a Blitz HUD.

If you have the old Winning Poker Network configured in PokerTracker, the hand history folder has changed and it will need updated in PokerTracker to match. In PokerTracker go to Configure -> Site & Import Options. Select Winning Poker Network on the left hand side and then on the right-hand side click the ‘Auto Detect’ button and your new hand history directories will be detected.

Best regards,

Derek

So I installed the new version of PT4. I went to the site configuration, and clicked on Auto Detect under WPN. No hands are showing up as I'm playing and HUD isn't working. I admit im very new with PT4 and am probably just doing something wrong...

The hands will import and the basic buy-in information can be imported when it is specified at the end of the filename, but other than that there is currently no tournament information. WPN plan to introduce full tournament summaries in the future and at that point PT4 will be updated to support those and provide more detailed tournament info.

Please make sure that it says v4.15.12 in the title bar of PT4. If it doesn't, reboot your computer and then run the installer again.

The hand history folder has changed and it will need updated in PokerTracker to match. In PokerTracker go to Configure -> Site & Import Options. Select Winning Poker Network on the left hand side and then on the right-hand side click the ‘Auto Detect’ button and your new hand history directories will be detected.

If it doesn't auto detect (if you have a custom HH folder for example) go to Game Info > View Hand History in the WPN lobby. In that window click the Options button and that will show you where your hand histories are being saved. Also make sure that 'Save Hand Histories' is enabled there.
If that is a different location to the one shown in your PT4 config window then add that location by clicking the Add button. You can remove any of the old hand history locations for WPN.

I followed all the steps and I still can't get PT4 to work properly. Any ideas?

Also, after downloading the latest version of PT4, it has shifted the timezone for iPoker (which I use to track Ignition hands combined with Ignition Card Catcher) 1 hour back. How can I fix this?

The latest versions of PT seems to be very slow in hand imports
It's that slow that my hud does not appear
and it's affecting all sites
anything I can do or is this is a consequence of the new import module ?

Please restart PokerTracker 4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then send your log file to is in a Support Ticket so we can investigate that for you. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File --> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and the file we need is the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder.

Sorry but we don't support converted hands from third party software. Native support for downloaded Ignition hands has been added to PokerTracker 4 and we have launched an integrated hand grabber for live play which is currently in free beta. Zone/MTT support isn't currently supported by the hand grabber but that will follow in future updates.

So we can find out what's causing that please enable logging, reproduce this issue and send us your PokerTracker4.log file:
