The few log files that I've seen so far have been with very large databases and custom Huds, and this can cause delays - we really need to find out whether anyone has problems with one of the default Huds and/or a small database so that we can narrow down the cause.

This issue is discussed on the forums of the Russian language. We can conclude that the problem occurs including standard HUD, but always with large databases. There is an interesting point. If a few players for which data are available (eg I play another limit, or another type of table), the program works well. Despite the fact that the base is large in size.
I think:
1. The problem is hardly associated with setting Hada
2. Always there in large databases
3. For the occurrence of the problem must be the presence in the database of many players who are at the tables.

PS. I re-opened my support ticket 125612.

I remember what when my DB was a small (I had only 30k-60k hands) with my HUD all was OK, but when I imported mining(1.2KK) I got a problems. And I always using my custom HUD not default HUD. So... do you mean if I will use default HUD all should be OK?

i just created a new DB today... and i use the default cash HUD ... after about 8h of grinding (Zoom on Stars) the Hud started to disappear randomly... :( but always just for 1 hand. After i fold the hand the HUD gets displayed normally again :o

And I wanted to add. This problem has appeared since version 4.03. Previously, such problems do not arise. I narrowed the cause as I could;)

Somehow the proposed causes look weird to me:

large databases (mine is only 1.4GB btw, which I think is comparably small), custom huds, hand history viewer ... those are all things that 90% of all PT4 users have, so that seems unlikely to be the reason for a problem that supposedly only a few users experience. Maybe it would be more useful to look for things those users have in common that separate them from other users (e.g., are they frequently using popups?), and also what are they doing at the time the crash happens (e.g., opening a new table, requesting popups ...)

I've sent in a bug report a few days ago where I mentioned that my crashes always happen when I open a new table and yesterday I further pointed out that for me requesting a popup while the layoutmanager is loading seems to be the trigger of the crash.

Now I find it a bit frustrating that my effort of going over the logs and looking for those things are being ignored, while random other causes are suggested. And if I'm not being ignored, but the developers saw right away that my findings are nonsense, a comment that my uneducated guesses are not helpful would be nice so that I could stop wasting my time.

And yes, I can also recreate the problem with the default hud - without using the Hand History Viewer.
And no, I haven't created a smaller database to test that.

P.S. Sorry if I come across a bit too aggressive, but as I mentioned I'm starting to get frustrated and don't want to go over the post again to make it sound nicer ;)

I can`t work normaly with such problems.

Is it hard to get old version without this bug?

spidereyes - we really appreciate your information, and I hope that will help lead us to find out what causes this. We're really not ignoring the information you (and a few others) have given us, but we're getting different info from different users, and my question about the Hand History Viewer (for example) was just one avenue of investigation suggested by something came up in another ticket.
I will take a look at your new logs now and reply via your ticket.

I posted a message on my support ticket Nr 126093, I played today with a small database and a default Hud. I hope it will help you to investigate!

Thankyou - I will check out your logs in detail with the development team, but from first look it seems to match our current line of investigation.
