The update is unlikely to need that long, but if you have multiple large databases, lots of custom stats (or inefficient stats) and a less powerful computer it's possible. Without more information it's hard to give you a more detailed suggestion, but if it's working in your new database you may find it better to re-import to your new database (this will apply the import fixes which have been made since you originally imported too).

Thanks for the suggestion WhiteRider, PT4 seems to be working fine at the moment, just 'missing' the history/notes. (for now)
I said my DB was 100GB before but that wasn't true, the mySQL map is 100GB+ (???), but the databases were only around 3GB.
I'll try to re-import soon and let you guys know if it worked out.

When i try the rebuild cache I get NOT RESPONDING. Should I try the DATABASE MANAGEMENT -> HOUSE KEEPING -> revert postgresSQL tuning ??

If you have a very large database the rebuild may initially appear to not be responding because PostgreSQL is doing the work and PT4 doesn't always know how far it has progressed.
I would suggest that you update to 4.11.6 if you haven't already (PT4 Download Page) and run PostgreSQL Tuning again as the default values have been changed.
If you still have a problem please let it run for a while then open a Support Ticket and attach your log file so that we can see what is going on.

Some days ago i update PT 4 to 4.11.6. As recommanded i updated the database. When starting to play today. PT freezes while importing. When i click stop getting hands nothing happens. No hud as well. Can't close it other then with taskmanager. Tried to restore but didnot help.

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. If you post your ticket number here I'll see what I can do about getting a response expedited for you.

Thanks yep that worked. I did the revert (which took about an hour) then I did the rebuild cache (took 8 hours), and now it appears to be working fine. While I have your attention WhiteRider, everytime I click 'Get Hand While Playing' over the last 18 months it starts with an import of the same 2 old $109 tourneys, every single time. Any quick fix for this? Delete/move the files from the folder they are in?

It seems that for some reason PT4 can't move those files so the best thing to do will be to move to the Processed folder yourself - you can access that via File > Open User Data Folder.
