The problem is still occurring for beta 4.052 . Some (not all) of the notes i take will still not save. And stats take a while to pop up . When i click them i just see a bunch of ( ) . then after 20 seconds or so they'll eventually show. Or i'll double click a persons stats to get their "session stats" then i cant dbl click back to overall stats. Trying 4.053 will report back if problem is still existent. Fwiw I have very large databases and i have PT4 read from 2-3 different ones for stats.

Sounds like a different thing. The good old hud crash (which I haven't seen in a while) meant no stats updated, the popups stayed at () and it was game over.

I agree with pasita - this does sound like a different issue. I see that you have opened a support ticket so we'll get back to you there.

Having said that, seems that I might have got it back. I just added some stats using live player count... was there still some problems/limitations with those?

Not that I'm aware of - please open a Support Ticket and attach your profile, and tell us which stat(s) you just added. Thanks.

I'm only using the live player count as a part of a custom stat. I thought there was at some point some restriction "if you use this live stat, be sure to..." but if that's no longer the case, fine.

I was too busy yesterday building my hud, keeping up with good tables and rebooting PT4 to be sure which one of the logs was which. I'll create a ticket once this happens again.

been seeing a lot of crashes lately, then when i close the PT HUD process in task manager and restart PT4 it insta crashes as soon as i play a hand, only thing that gets it goin again is a full restart of computer, have no custom stats ( a few downloaded popups from the PT4 site ) and am using 4.05.3 beta

Yeah, I'm starting to think this has been happening since installing .03 . I'm sure there was a week or two when I didn't see any of this. Although what I also did a couple of days ago was I returned to my older db... I started using smaller new dbs when this thing started appearing and I was forced to go back to older PT versions. Now I imported those back to my old larger db.

BTW is it usual that when I activate a db it takes about 30 seconds or so? ½ million(ish) hands, powerful PC with plenty of memory. With the smaller ones, the activation seems pretty much instant.

The restrictions on live stats is to make sure the column referencing the live table starts with "live_" - only columns named that way can use the live tables without problems.

30 seconds seems long for activating a database to me - have you sent us a log already showing that activation time?
