Hello,
to reproduce:
a. play poker
b. close poker client
c. leave pt4 running with "get hands while playing" on
d. come back after 5-8 hours and start the poker client.
observations:
while poker client and game are not affected, there is no HUD appears and cpu gets maxed out by pt4 process.
workaround:
kill the thing and start pt4 again.
please advise.

I will try this out, although obviously it will take a while..
What site are you using?
Do you leave the poker client open and re-open tables, or do you close the client too? I assume the problem occurs when you start playing at a table rather then when you just open the poker client, as that shouldn't affect PT4 at all.

it''s on ongame
last time i left pt4 and client running but closed all tables. when i came back the client timed-out, so i restarted it. Your assumption is correct - the cpu gets exhausted only when i open the table.
But i'm not sure if the mere fact of opening the table gets PT4 crazy or it goes nuts only when there are hands played.
update:
CPU gets to 100 only after the first hand is finished.

Thanks for the detail - I'll try this again with OnGame when I have chance.

another workaround is to re-start "getting hands while playing" before the hand is played(finished).
i can reproduce the issue 100% of the time.

I'm also having this issue, although cpu goes to around 50-60. This happens if I just stop playing (without closing the client) and leave it for 20 minutes or so.

the latest update - .19 seemed to be an improvement, but i have to observe more.
Last time i had 2 tables opened with PT4 and client been running for 1 day. When new hands started to come down i observed a short lived ( < 30 seconds) spike in CPU consumption (70%) . After that HUD came up and i was able to play without any issues.

Thanks for the update - I haven't been able to reproduce the problem yet.
