Time between sessions

Hi, say I play the following:

*) session 1
*) 10-15 minute break
*) session 2

PT4 is recording this as 1 single session - is there a way I can modify the time gap that PT4 uses to determine what qualifies as 2 separate sessions?

Thanks,
love the software!

A break must be 30 minutes or more to qualify in PT4. That time is not configurable.

+1. This should be configurable.

I use Holdem Manager so I can get reasonable figures for hands/hour, hourly etc. Shouldn't need to own both though.

+1 to that request.

Already about 3 years since started using PT3 I really don't understand - why this simple thing can't be configurable? All statistical values based on time like Hands/hr, $/hr, etc. are calculating without constant accuracy for some group of players because of those hardcoded 30min intervals.

i think when ure done with the session u can stop getting hands, and then start getting hands again when ure starting the next session so PT4 will record it as a seperate session..?

It's considered a new session in PT4 if 30 minutes have elapsed and no hands have been imported and that should be regardless of whether you stopped and restarted importing or not.

I've made a fix for hourly calculation if you, like me, are having breaks that are less than 30 minutes quite frequently. Take a look here: http://flopinspector.com/pokertracker-hourly-fix/

I just want to make it clear that making changes like this to your database is not supported.

That is totally understandable, and I would like to add that doing this is only recommended for advanced users(The script doesn't alter anything in the database though, only adds a function and an index.)
