tons of bugs or horrible UI?

Postby FKU » Sun Nov 03, 2013 5:27 pm

Hi,

I am not sure if I dont understand the UI or if there are tons of bugs.

Why are 1.) and 2.) different? I just imported the hands from the current live session (no other hands for sure).
Why are 3.) and 4.) different?
5.) seems to be a nonsense number, because there are multiple all in hands before the river that were not recognized in this calculation. They have an "empty" all in equity.

You may have imported more hands than you personally played if you play at a site which writes observed hands while you're waiting for the blinds to be posted, or if you use the memory grabber option at PokerStars. Also if you're still playing at the time the imported hands count will continue to increase but you need to click Refresh to see all the latest hands in the reports, so the counts will normally be different.

I suspect the other differences may be related to the way that the By Session report is constructed, the use of the filter and possibly the My Day Starts At option. What time is My Day Starts At set to in Configure > Reporting Options?

If you look at one of the other reports do the numbers match between the upper and lower reports?

Ok, the difference between 1 and 2 are observed hands while I was waiting for the BB.

"My Day Starts At" is set to "12 Midnight". The number of hands matches in the other reports. The difference is only in the "overview" report in the "by session" tab.

Any Idea why some hands have no all in equity number?

If they had a player who called the all-in later fold we don't calculate equity because the unknown folded cards had an unknown amount of equity and any calculation would be incorrect.

This is not the case with the hands I am having trouble with. Here is an example hand that has an empty all-in equity in the hands list:

$1 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG+2: 137.63 BB
MP: 122.31 BB
MP+1: 111.1 BB
CO: 113 BB
BTN: 99.5 BB
SB: 104.34 BB
BB: 113.5 BB
UTG: 100 BB
Hero (UTG+1): 215.92 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 5:spade: 5:heart:

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, UTG+2 calls 3 BB, fold, MP+1 calls 3 BB, fold, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (13.5 BB, 4 players) 6:diamond: Q:club: 5:diamond:
Hero bets 10 BB, UTG+2 raises to 20 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 65 BB, UTG+2 raises to 134.13 BB, Hero calls 69.13 BB

Turn: (281.76 BB, 2 players) 9:diamond:

River: (281.76 BB, 2 players) 2:diamond:

UTG+2 shows A:diamond: Q:heart: (Flush, Ace High) (Pre 46%, Flop 6%, Turn 18%)
Hero shows 5:spade: 5:heart: (Three of a Kind, Fives) (Pre 54%, Flop 94%, Turn 82%)
UTG+2 wins 277.76 BB

Please attach the original hand history file for that hand to a Support Ticket with a link to this thread so that we can investigate further.
