How large is your database, how much RAM do you have, and how much free space is there on your hard drive?

You only have 4G of hard disk space free on the database drive? That is likely part of the problem then -- try freeing up some space and that may well get things working for you.

It's hard to be certain without knowing more about your computer usage over the last few days. Clearing up space will definitely make PostgreSQL happier - you don't even have enough free space on your drive for a second copy of your database.
