PT4 stopped working

Hello,

I've been using PT4 for a long time now with Windows 8, and suddenly it stopped working properly. My HUD doesn't appear anymore when I play.
I've tried housekeeping, and rebuilding the cache. Housekeeping finished, but rebuilding cache crashes after a few minutes and everything freezes.

When I launch "get hands while playing", i get duplicates and no HUD appears, , when I click on "Stop getting hands" it never stops and I have to force it.

I tried as well using the setup assistant but it stays stucked on importing hands but it never starts.

I uninstalled and reinstalled PT4.

Nothing of this worked.

Please tell me what to do! I didn't do anything with postgres yet because I know we have to do it a certain way and I'm not sure.

Thanks for your help.

If the cache rebuild failed you'll need to do that again. Please enable logging (Configure > Options) and restart PT4 then start the cache rebuild again. If it fails please take a screenshot of the error and attach it to a Support Ticket along with the PokerTracker4.log file from C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\ (which you can access from the PT4 File menu) so that we can see what is going on.

Hello,

I don't get an error, it's just that PT4 freezes and becomes white but no error message.

Yesterday I tried the Custom cache rebuild, it took all night but worked.

Now I'm using the setup assistant and it seems to ben importing many hands!! So I hope my problem is over.

I also created a ticket yesterday evening.

Thank you for your help and Happy New year!

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.
