PokerTracker has detected a permissions issue

PokerTracker has detected a permissions issue witch prevents it from running.

That's the message I get on my mac when i try to run it. And i did everything it said.. Verified the permissions and repaired them.
Nothing changed. What is wrong?

Are you running the latest version of PokerTracker 4 (4.14.8)?

Restart your computer then open the terminal (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal) and copy/paste this into the new window:

sudo mkdir -p /Users/Shared/Library/Preferences

You may need to enter your administrator password when you do this and for security purposes it may not show anything as you type it in.

Using the terminal again copy/paste this:

sudo chmod 777 /Users/Shared/Library/Preferences

Try to launch PokerTracker 4 and if you have any further trouble please submit a support ticket along with a link to this thread.
