i configured my gmail account. I clicked import hands from e-mail after having hand history from pokerstars sent to my e-mail. All of the e-mails it was importing were from 2015 and older and not my recent hand history? How is this fixed. Also, on pokerstars my hands./tournaments are saved in a file, i go to that file and nothing is there?

Once emails have been accessed from POP then they won't show up again normally. You can get around this, and only see your latest emails, by setting the name to:
recent:yourname@gmail.com
(replace 'yourname' with your gmail account name)

By default the original hand history and tournament summary files will have been moved to the Processed folder, which you can access via File > Open User Data Folder in the PT4 menu.

You can enter your email account details in PokerTracker 4 via the "Configure -> Site & Import Options -> Accounts Configuration" page.

If you have a large quantity of email messages then you can go into Gmail settings and enable this option:

[x] Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on

Once that is done you can request your hands via email again from your poker site.
