Option to set a min # of hands for a stat

I think it would be extremely useful if one could set a minimum number of hands before a particular stat becomes relevant and changes from say N/A to the numerical value.

I am not talking about the minimum number of hands in the HUD option config, rather an extra option in the Item Properties of a stat. Things like VPIP and PFR require a small sample size and every hand played counts are in a completely different "category" than say 4-bet.

If one has a lot of stats in a table, sure you could have the "show times / opps on", but it results in a lot of space being taken up and make it harder to pick out the stat you are looking for. Thus, I don't have it turned on and I find I have to keep checking that the number of opportunities are significant, which adds a considerable amount of time.

It would be much better to be able to pop-up the table, and straight away see a "-" or an N/A by that particular stat. This is particular useful for 3/4/5 bet type stats. Even if you have 1000's of hand on a particular player, with certain player types the number of times they have 4 and 5 bet can still be so small the number shown comes from such a small sample size it shouldn't be trusted.

This suggestion has been made previously and is on our list of feature requests. I will make certain the development team is aware of this request when we are again looking to add new features of this nature.

Not yet - I wouldn't expect to see this any time soon; the development team are currently focusing on preparing for the commercial release, and there are a list of changes which will continue to be made after that too.

No news on this? Its the only reason why I keep using hm1. Also in hm1 you can filter the bright of the color stat based on the number of samples. WE NEED THIS.

kraada could you please raise the question with developers again or/and give some kind of ETA? Me and a bunch of ppl I know stick with HM1 for this very reason, since most of stats are unreliable and you don't really have time to check with pop-ups when 20+ tabling.

I know it's something we're looking at, but I don't expect to get a more detailed ETA until something is very nearly ready.

Just wanted to clarify that what we're talking about is min sample - Y times of Z opportunities and not another option to not show stat before you play X number of any hands, like it is right now with whole HUD (not quite useful IMO).

BTW I'm pretty sure that when I played yesterday with this thing on (min # of hands before showing HUD) I didn't get any HUD even on players I've played before until X hand barrier. Is it intended to work this way - session like? If not, I think it might add some usability to this option if you let it to show existing stat (>X) from the start.

Kraada is it possible to use the previous post of displaying the VPIP as the word FISH instead of VPIP 53.2 in this example?

If you duplicate the stat and in the format portion, you use If / Then loops to display either:

1 - Transparent color / color identical to the background / simple N/A if the number of Hands /opportunities is less then a specific number

2 - Normal stat display if min attempts is equal or greater
