"Game C Cost" show My Currency in total row

Postby vermo » Tue Jan 22, 2013 1:33 am

Hi,

I ve added the Game C Cost in the Tournament Result Tab (advanced) to check the total Amount of Buy-in per buy-in.
All my game currency Tournaments are in USD. My Currency is Euro.

In the Total row, it doesnt show the correct addition of every total Buy-in, It shows a number close to the "My C Buy-in" and in Euro.

Is that a bug need to be fixed ?

Regards,

This is intentional behavior - when you could have multiple rows of different currencies the only sensible way to add them up is to do so in My Currency. It's true we could show it in game currency if you only had one type of currency in the report but since we have to design the stats for use by everyone (and most sites have multiple currency games and thus most players will at some time or another play in different currencies) this was the only route that made sense.

Thanks for the answer. I should think about it before posting :)

I m still little bit uncomfortable with the currency system.
I made a deposit in EUR on pokerstars, but exchange it ( in one time) in USD to play on USD table.
Then if I check my results on pokertracker in EUR ( as prefered currency) it will not be accurate cause the rate change everyday.
So best way is to choose USD I guess in that case.

It's ok, currency is not a simple thing!

If you've got your cashier balance sitting in USD exclusively and you only see the exchange rate when you deposit or withdraw it's probably going to make the most sense to keep your currency in USD in PT4 for the most part.
