Buy in amount from a cash game

I thought about several methods to retrieve the amount a player bought in, but I have some issues because if Hero and Villain stt at the same time or Hero sit after him the amount isn't correct since it cannot be known.
How can I make a stat that takes into account hands only if the player sit after Hero. I could use dates and number of hands at the table, but I'm still lost

I don't know if that's feasible but something like that would require some complex SQL that's beyond my knowledge I'm afraid.
