Hi,

I have a friend that is considering moving from PT3 to PT4 but he has invested a lot of effort on his PT3 HUD profile. Is there a quick way to convert/import a PT3 HUD profile to PT4?

The PT3 HUD profiles will import into PT4, just export them from PT3 and import them into PT4 - however, if he's interested in having the best HUD possible we do recommend that he take a good look at what new options the PT4 HUD has - there are quite a few things that you can't do in PT3 that you can do in PT4, and he may want to change his HUD as a result!

hi Kraada. i tried to import my pt3hud to pt4. at first i had to change the file name from .pt3 to.pt4 otherwise pt4 didnt recognize the hud. after i changed the name my old hud didnt work. i coulkdnt switch at the table to my cash profile. so tried to change it in the hud pop up but it still didnt show up at the tables. further it looked very different in the hud pop up as it looka actually.

Please attach the file in question to a support ticket and we'll look into this for you.

Changing the filename extension won't work - when you import your PT3 Hud profile change the file type filter from .pt4hud to .pt3hud so that the correct files are listed, as shown below:

hi white rider thx for your advice.now it worked. but how can a arrange my hud pop ups? drawing doesnt work and how can i get rid of the "Trial: please register" banner?

Click on the PT Icon then Unlock and then you'll be able to move the HUD windows around. Then PT Icon -> Save & Lock to save and lock them down. You can also move them even when things are locked with ctrl+click and drag.
