im trying to get my head around the float/probe stats for heads up play (BTN being SB and first to act preflop) as used to bet v missed cbet stat from HEM1

how does float work here? assuming im not open limping from the button is flop float = amout of times a player bets when the preflop 3better checks to him? im kind of confused because it shows as 44% (18/41) for an opponent of mine while i have only 3bet this guy a single time during the whole match

A float bet is any time the player bet (in position) after their opponent failed to make a CBet. This applies to single raised pots as well as 3Bet or higher pots.

if thats correct the stat seems flawed (at least for HU). as i said in the post above i 3bet the player 1 single time in 5xx hands (yes im a nit) but his float is 44% (18/41). he also did not open limp!

Please attach the hand history file for that session to a Support Ticket with a link to this thread so that we can investigate. Thanks.

ok i have found the problem:

for heads up hands (dunno about 6max) float flop = donk bet flop in non 3bet pots!

now idead why thats the case but numbers match and i also filtered for hands and the scenario was always a lead

this bug / misinterpretation seems to occur on all sites
