Possible bug: Raise & 4Bet+ PF stat

Postby Mercadiator » Sat Nov 17, 2012 3:09 am

There might be a bug with the stat "4Bet+ Preflop After Raising" unless I'm missing something.

Hero has "2Bet PF & Fold" of 100 %
Hero has "4Bet+ Preflop After Raising" of 100 %

This seems strange to me, I don't see how they can both be 100 % at the same time.
Both stats are about what happens after Hero does an initial raise ( "2Bet PF" and "After Raising").

If it's indeed true that Hero does a 4Bet+ of 100 % after raising, then he just can't be Folding 100 % after raising as well.

How is this possible? Is this a bug? Or what am I missing?
Shouldn't both stats be 50 % ?

I see what's going on here.

Fold to PF 3Bet After Raising checks for exactly 3bets - you make the open raise and face a 3bet and either fold or not.

4Bet+ Preflop After Raising should check for 3bets or higher - you make the first raise, then could 5bet in a multi-way situation where you face a 4bet and never faced a 3bet.

So what's happened here is that someone raised, faced a 3bet and folded. Then the player raised, faced a 4bet (with a 3bet in between that he didn't face) and 5bet.

There is a small bug here though in that the opportunity column for 4bet+ Preflop After Raising is not taking into account these 5bet+ situations - so it should be 50% for your player not 100%. But your 100% for fold to 3bet after raising can still be valid even if someone did 4bet+ after raising because they folded to the 3bet but when facing multiple raises, did reraise.
