Trying To Make My own Stat for HUD

I'm trying to build my own live stat for my HUD. The guide for making my own live statistics says "coming soon" so I've had to come here to ask. How would I make a statistic that shows pct_icm_equity_end from the previous hand? This is a "Hand" variable, not a "Players" statistic so maybe this will not be so simple or maybe not possible. But the data is all in the database so there must be a way

I got as far as creating a Players variable named "foo" with the expression "equity_ICM(id_tourney, id_hand, id_site, str_player_name_real, 2, false)" then making a statistic that uses the expression "foo". but the problem is that it doesnt appear in the list of available stats when i try to add it to the HUD, its just not there.

Equity information is not stored in the live table and won't be available for live statistics at this time.

Thats annoying. I would've thought that at least there was some obscure way to do it as PokerTracker4 does seem capable. Anyway, I found a bug. While PT4 does not allow me to add a statistic that uses foo, I can change existing statistics expressions to foo. I naively thought this might do the trick but it just breaks the HUD - at first it was producing some numbers for the stat but then it went haywire.

Please restart PT4 using the Logging Enabled link on your Start Menu and reproduce this problem. Then please send us the PokerTracker4.log file via a support ticket so that we can investigate this further for you. You can find this file by clicking File -> Open User Data Folder in the main PT4 window. The file we need is the text file called PokerTracker that's in the folder that appears.

I don't think there's much use in submitting a log of my actions because it seems like the developers knew that the statistic I built would break the HUD so prevented it from appearing in the list of statistics I could add to it. I essentially tricked PT4 into letting me add the statistic by editing a the expression of statistic already added to the HUD to be the same as the statistic that it wouldn't let me add. The problem isn't that the HUD broke, it's that PT4 allowed me to change a statistic so that it breaks the HUD. Maybe a message should pop up "this expression may cause your HUD to break, are you sure you want to continue?".

If you submit a log we can make sure that loophole is closed. You shouldn't be able to create stats that break the HUD.
