I'm sorry to be so critical, but Is there any documentation on how to use the Omaha Hand Range Selector -It is unusable !
I have wasted hours trying different things to figure it out and I just can't crack it !
I actually think it might be broken.
If I want to specify something simple like pairs or suited hands, it works fine, but anything with a variation of a wrap in it, does not seem doable.
Has anyone else had success with this ?

So I think the key is to realize that the range selector uses OR to combine the various boxes that you've added. So when you add a four card rundown and a pair of aces you get AAxx and JT98 both.
If you want to narrow it down (ie- get no hands at all for a pair plus a four card rundown) you need to add each range individually to the filters - then the way filters work they'll get ANDed together and you'll see only the intersection of the ranges.

Thanks for replying.
I. So if I understand you right, to get KKJT, I should enter a pair of Ks (no triple) and a K high rundown, separately so they're ANDed.
II. I also tried to achieve AKQQ - QQJ8 by entering :
1. Q or better high rundown w gap
2. QQ - no triples.
both are entered separately so they're ANDed.
Both I and II give me absolutely nothing - and I checked and have hands in these ranges in my database.

I found it horribly confusing as well. Sorry to be hypercritical, but I'd be surprised if anyone can use that monstrosity effectively. It's not easy to enter ranges into Pro Poker Tools, but PT4 range selector is just orders of magnitudes more frustrating.

I will check how these work for you.

I hope it's soon - I bought this a month ago and it's essentially useless ! I'm losing my patience

As I understand it at the moment hands with a pair will not count as rundowns. The development team are planning to add more wildcard options to the range selection (soon, I'm told, although this is always dependent on other issues arising).

That seems like it would be pretty important functionality for something called an Omaha Hand Range Selector !
Yet it doesn't prevent you from promoting it and selling software which doesn't work !
You fooled me - congratulations !
