Colour code note icon without box around HUD

I was wondering whether it is possible to remove the colour box around the HUD when colour tagging opponents using NoteTracker. I would prefer for just the note icon to show up in that colour.

You can turn this feature off via Hud -> Edit Hud Options -> Advanced. It's called "Outline Groups with Player Color".
