Note Tracker

Postby Newverynew » Wed Dec 18, 2013 6:06 am

Hi,

1. When adding any Hand Details -> Pot Size & Stack Depth filter the street is not displayed. I.e. adding an effective stack size filter between 0 and 100 BB both preflop and on the river reads "Effective Stack Size Big Blinds Between 0 and 100" both times. It is confusing when dealing with auto notes I did not create myself.

2. Does the Stack to pot ratio filter only apply to "player" or to all players involved in the hand? It makes a huge impact, if "opponent" can have a smaller SPR.

(1) This is on our list to fix. If you'd like automated notification when a fix is available, please create a support ticket and tell us which filters you're seeing these kinds of problems with and we'll make sure you're notified when they're fixed. It is just a display issue, they do work properly.

(2) SPR is based on the player's effective stack in the street in question. So you can have in the same hand one player with an SPR of 2 and two others with SPRs of 10.

Thx

(1) ok

(2) I think I didn't get it. I make some examples.

HU - Flop
effective stack size player = effective stack size opponent?
SPR player = SPR opponent?

Should always be the smallest actual stack/SPR.

3way - Flop
pot size: 1
actual stack size player (who gets the auto note): 10
actual stack size opponent1: 5
actual stack size opponent2: 15

Case1 - Opponent1 bets, player raises - The auto note just tracks the SPR at which player raises a bet.
effective stack size player: 5?
SPR player: 5?

Note tracker should make an auto note where it says raises at SPR "5". Will the "5" be altered when opponent2 decides to overcall or raise? Opponent2 was still in the hand when player raised opponent1.

Case2 - Opponent2 bets, player raises - The auto note just tracks the SPR at which player raises a bet.
effective stack size player: 10?
SPR player: 10?

I think my question is when player's effective stack size (flop) is determined. Right when the flop is dealt or when player/opponent starts betting.

Case3 - player donks into 2 opponents - The auto note just tracks the SPR at which player donks.
effective stack size player: ?
SPR player: ?

Most sense would make to take the largest effective stacks. Can you comment on the examples, please.

When heads up both players have the same effective stack and SPR on the flop.

Effective stack is calculated at the time of a player's first action on the street.

In your example you have 3 players:
A with stack 5
B with stack 10
C with stack 15.

Effective stack size can only be either 5 or 10 in this setup. For A it's always 5.

For B and C it depends if they are both in the hand at their first action. So if A bets, B folds and C calls, for A it was 5, B it was 10, and C it was 5. Because by the time C got to act, B was no longer around and thus C couldn't lose more than 5. If the hand checked around (or in any other way everyone was in at their first action), B and C would both have effective stack 10.

Then SPR is calculated based on effective stack.
