Why can't I edit (or deactivate) a note?

Postby vitormilagres » Fri Mar 06, 2015 7:57 pm

So, I click on Tools and then Notetracker
The new window shows up, with a bunch of notes (some of which are active)
So I want to deactivate some of them because I think they won't be helpful
For example:
I don't want to see the note 001 - Call 2Bet From Blinds Range
However, when I uncheck the box ACTIVE on the left part of the list, it just won't uncheck
I can't uncheck any boxes. It looks like they are all locked and we can't edit them.

The same thing happens to the ones that are unchecked
For example, note number 054 comes unchecked.
Then I try to activate it and it just won't work. The box won't check

How can I edit all these notes without them being locked?

Thank you

The top report is just a display - it's not editable. To edit a note (including activating or deactivating it) you have to click on it in the top report and make your edits in the bottom section.

I've recently turned some notes off but it seems in my HUD they still show. Does it mean that it is not auto taking these notes anymore, but the ones it already took will still be in my HUD? Do i have to purge the old notes so i dont see them in my HUD even though they are currently deactivated?

Yes, exactly that. You can purge notes using the Status tab in NoteTracker, then all active notes will be reapplied; starting with the newest hands so that you always have the most relevant notes as quickly as possible. If you have a large number of hands it could take some time to generate all of your notes again, so you may want to run it from the Status tab for a while - they will generate in the background while an import is running though.
