I'm sure this will be done but just in case it has been omitted,
On the Note Tracker Edit page, it would be nice if there was a
'Convert To Tourney note' button, to automatically convert a cash
auto note rule to a tourney auto note rule

I'll make a note of this request and bring it to the development team for possible future consideration.

I play mostly tourneys, and there are no definitions in the tourney tab.
I tried exporting some of the cash notes but when I import they only duplicate the same notes in the cash tab.
Are there any tourney note defs available and how do I import them?
Or is there any difference? I have not played since loading PT4 so they may be setting the notes that are in the cash tab? I doubt it tho.

Also Ive been using NoteCaddy. They have more variables in addition to {cardrange} ie {flop hand} which would show TP, draws etc. Is this in the works?

Tournament default note definitions are planned but I don't know when they will be added. For now, have a look at how the cash filters are defined and try building a few of your own.

I have made a few and will continue.
Have them look into the import problem too. Would be easy to import some cash defs.
I will have to purge my database of notes in order to make these new notes apply to previous hands-layers correct??
Does the purge purge cash notes as well torney and do I re-do both cash and tourney after the purge?

Why do you not ask the community to post all the note definitions they have made already for tournaments and add them to note tracker. I am sure that we could start off with a huge number of user made notes and knock off the doubles and not usable ones.

Correct.

Yes, purging will remove both sets of notes, and they will both be automatically rebuilt.

I'm not sure where we're at with building tournament note definitions, but I'm sure anything you'd like to submit would be gratefully received - either here or via a Support Ticket. I expect a NoteTracker section to be added to the Download Customizations section too, at some point.

As far as importing note defs to tourney??
I exported a couple of cash notes and tried to import them into the tourney notes.
When they imported they came into the cash as duplcates, not the tourney.
Can you address this or have you already and I misunderstood?

That won't currently work. I don't know whether or not it will be possible to add as the filters for tournaments are somewhat different.
Since we need to create a set of tournament note definitions I'm sure if this is possible it will be done as that would save us time too!

I have created several note def for tourneys on my laptop at home.
Can I copy-paste the file "NoteTrackerRules.pt4" to my computer at office in order to have these notes on that computer?
