Notetracker on Mac - strange behaviour when I create new def

Not sure if this is a bug exactly but it seems like weird behaviour.
I'm running 4.10.6 on a Mac.
I open Notetracker and create (and Save) a New note Definition.
Wanting to test my new Definition, I click on the Test tab, but the definition I've just created isn't in the drop down list of Definitions I can choose from.
It seems the only way I can test my new Definition is to close Notetracker, open it again, go to the Test tab, and now I find that the drop down menu includes my new Definition.
Not a show-stopper obviously but it feels kind of awkward.
On a different note, I've been using PT4 a bunch lately and have been really impressed with the software overall.
You guys have done a great job.
And I'm saying that as someone who adored HEM1.
