I'm planning on installing my PT4 license from my laptop to a desktop and I don't want to manually export/import each NT custom note. I'm thinking backing up my PT as a whole and importing the backup to a fresh install of PT on my desktop will include all custom notes, am I correct in assuming this?

This might be a bit off topic but would all my HUDs be transferred to the desktop as well?

Yes. We have a guide for that here and your HUD/Notetracker settings will be included in the backup as long as 'User Data Files' is enabled.
