Hi, I am making some custom note tracker filters and I can't figure out how the pot % sizing works within pt4 preflop.

I have tried the filter on the player saying he is facing a pot size 3bet:


or

I have tried to use the opponent filter and say that the opponent made a pot size 3bet



Neither of these actually return pot size 3bets even though I know there is some in the sample i am testing.

Any advice on how to interpret the pot % function within PT4 and the right the direction on this appreciated, ty

For a pot size 3Bet this needs to be set to 50. For example:

Blinds 1/2
UTG 2Bets to 6
MP 3Bets Pot to 21
Pot is now 1+2+6+21=30
UTG needs to call 15.
15/30 = 50%

Does that mean postflop if an opponent bets 50% of the pot the action faced is worked out in a similar fashion;

Pot = 100
Bet = 50% Pot

100 + 50 = 150

50/150 = 33.33%

If i want to consistently find notes on whether villains have 3bet pot or not, how can i enter this? I want to use the "betsize used" part now not "betsize faced" like was answered for me already.

I have played around with it and i realize 100% pot does not equal potsize bet, i see how it works in pt4 100% pot is catching hands like:
(.5 / 1 in the blinds , 2.5x raise ep sooo 4 in the pot and btn villain makes it 4 (100% of the pot before it reached him)) .. so actual potsize bets under standard terminology are somewhere around 210%-230% depending on the raise size it seems.

TLDR: Is there actually a specific % that will catch all standard poker terminology potsize bets?

There isn't a specific % for pot sized 3 bets. A pot sized 3bet would give the 2bettor 2:1 pot odds e.g:

SB $1
BB $2
2Bet $4
3Bet $15 (214% of the pot)

SB $1
BB $2
2Bet $6
3Bet $21 (233% of the pot)

SB $1
BB $2
2Bet $8
3Bet $27 (245% of the pot)

For NoteTracker the "Sizes calculated in Percentage of Pot..." filter works great fro making notes when the active player called too wide for example.

But how would i make a filter for say a player who 3 bets for a small sizing? i.e. active player was BTN and 3 bet less than pot? In that case i would need to use the 3bet size percentage of pot filter?

Does this seem like a hacky approach? Is there a "cleaner" way?
