Hands played within last 7 days

If i make a notetracker filter for hands played and include the filter "Date - Last 7 days" , will this actually reset internally to keep a total over the previous 7 days or will it just keep adding on top of the count from the previous day? ..

Part 2 of the question.. should i just be looking at doing this in a custom stat, is that possible?

The notes will accumulate as the filters are applied when the note is taken and not retroactively. There isn't a simple way to make custom stats for the 'last X hands' but you can use hands in the 'last X minutes' using an expression as discussed here.
