Hand Range Visualizer

Postby BoiledFrog » Sat Jun 08, 2013 9:57 pm

When I look at the standard VPIP Hand Range Visualizer I noticed that my VPIP for AA was not 100%. I wanted to see the hands where I didn't play this hands. As far as I know, it's not possible to filter on hands you didn't play. So, I created an Overview report filtering on AA hands and exported. Then I filtered it on AA and VPIP == true and exported it. I compared the exported reports and they're identical. What gives? Is there an easier way to determine when I didn't play my aces?

Were you looking at "Value" or "Range" in the Holdem Hand Range Visualizer? Range shows the percentage of hands which you VPIP'd with each hand made up. Value is the percentage of times you VPIP'd with each particular hand. i.e. With 'Range' no hands will be 100% because all hands together add up to 100%.

The easiest way to look at stats for each starting hand is to go to the Summary report and select Group By Starting Hand (Holdem).

Remember that by default hand reports only show the last 100 hands, so probably don't show all of your AA hands even when filtered.
The best way to find hands you didn't VPIP is to add the VPIP filter and then in the Current/Active Filters page select it and click 'NOT' Selected (like this).

I was using "Range". I was able to find where I didn't VPIP using the "NOT" filter that you linked. Thanks.

It turns out there was a single hand where I didn't VPIP. I didn't raise in the big blind when I was heads-up with the small blind.
