Problem with auto import hands "Get hands while playing"

Postby Yipittt » Tue Oct 08, 2013 7:56 pm

Hello,

When I start PT and press the button "Get hands while playing" I get the following error message:

PokerTracker has detected a large number of hand history files which must be imported.
This problem may prevent your HUD from updating in a timely manner and it may eventually cause your HUD to not display on the tables.
To avoid this problem you must stop playing and manually import these hand histories by running the "Setup Assistant" found under the "Tools" menu or by clicking the "Get Hands From Disk" button.

So I did followed the steps mentioned in the message, but after that, I still get the same error over and over again.

How can I fix this problem?

When you run the Setup Assistant and go through the site configuration it should import all of the existing hand histories - did it do that?
Once they've been imported the files are moved to the Processed folder so that they don't have to be read again.

If you used Get Hands From Disk you will need to move the files manually, otherwise they will still be there.

If you used the Setup Assistant and the files weren't moved, please enable logging (Configure > Options) and restart PT4 then run through the Setup Assistant one more time then attach the PokerTracker4.log file from C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\ (which you can access from the PT4 File menu) to a Support Ticket so that we can see what is going on.
Also compress the hand history files which remain in the hand history folder(s) and attach those too.
Once you've done that, move the files manually to the Processed folder and things should work OK after that.
