Large Timemachine backup when PT4 is running

Postby stuporfly » Wed Nov 13, 2013 5:03 pm

Hi,

I'm seeing large (3-4gb) backups being made to my timemachine whenever I have PT4 running.

Where is PT4 saving data to? could it be the database or something similar? I would really like to exclude this PT4 data from my backup, but I don't know where to look...

I have a database of about 235000 hands, if that makes a difference.

Thanks, Jonas

The database can be quite large. The database is stored in /Library/PostgreSQL and you can exclude that from your backups if you'd like, but if you do that you probably will want to make regular backups of your database on your own via PT4's File -> Backup method (they'll be much smaller when done that way too).
