Installing postgreSQL

Postby Segato » Sat Jan 11, 2014 7:03 am

I've just downloaded the pt4 software. When starting it I get the configure postgreSQL window, but it is not yet installed. The configuration setting are default (localhost, 5432, postgres, dbpass), but when I hit connect I get this message: ``Unable to connect to this database. Please check configuration``. I cant do anathing else in the PT4 software.

What is wrong? Seems like it thinks postgres is already installed although i have not.

Thanks
Christian

If it's not downloading automatically you'll need to download PostgreSQL and install it yourself. You can find our OS X tutorial for installing PostgreSQL here. You can ignore the bits about uninstalling first as it's not relevant to you.
